Mall Pet Pawlicy
SM Supermalls Pet Policy
Pets of all breeds & sizes and trained service animals for security
& special needs shall be allowed within mall premises, mall common areas,
elevators, and escalators on the following conditions:
- Mall
Management will have the discretion to allow or disallow entry of other
kinds of pets aside from dogs and cats.
- Pets
should always be on a leash, in a carrier/stroller, or hand carried. Dogs
are only allowed to be off-leash at the Paw Park.
- Pet
owners should be able to always maintain control over their pets.
Registering for the Super Pets Club is not mandatory for entry into SM
Supermalls however, it is mandatory to enter and use the Paw Park.
Around the Mall:
- On
escalators, pets should be hand-carried or placed in a pet-carrier.
- On
elevators, pets should be placed on a short leash.
- In
dining areas like the Food Hall or Food Court, pets should not be placed
on top of tables and chairs.
- In
restrooms, pets should not be placed on the diaper changer or baby seats.
- Pets
shall not be allowed inside or around children’s play areas.
- Pets
(except guide dogs) shall not be allowed inside the chapel or mass area.
Stores and Restaurants inside the Mall:
- Stores
and restaurants have the right to implement their own pet policies.
- The
store’s pet policy shall be observed within its premises only.
- Look
out for the blue paw print sticker to know which stores allows pets.
Pet Owner’s Responsibilities:
- Ensure
their pets are properly vaccinated as required by law and health
regulations.
- Maintain
full control and supervision of their pets at all times. Pets should never
be left unattended.
- Always
clean up after their pets and properly dispose of pet waste in sealed
bags. Pets are highly encouraged to wear a diaper in mall premises
however, it is not required.
- Be
fully responsible for their pets. Any person bringing their dogs into the
mall assumes all liability, responsibility, and associated risks, jointly
and individually, for any damage, disease, or injury to persons, other
dogs, and/or property.
- Immediately
report any incidents to mall security and attend to the victim and
shoulder all medical expenses related to the accident caused by the pet.
- Handle
their pet with care. Unnecessary noise, actions, strong, or violent pet
behavior will not be tolerated.
Responsible pet ownership is appreciated! If any of the above rules are
violated, mall management reserves the right to give warning to pet owners. If
actions still persist, the pet owner will be asked to remove the pet from the
mall premises.
